Many of the most tragic tales are hidden behind an impressive career. Lolo Jones, champion of the USA and World hurdles, has earned this title after a long period of dedication and perseverance. Jones was the only member of a family with five children, and grew up in a very poor environment. She lived with her mom in the basement of a church, and was constantly in motion. Jones had an erratic and mobile lifestyle up until she enrolled in high school, had to transfer to a brand new school each year. Jones, who was interested in the track events during her time at Theodore Roosevelt high school, stayed in a different place from her mother so that she could follow her passion. Jones stayed in four residences during her high school time to pursue her education in a single location. Jones won her the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award at school and was also involved in the school orchestra, as cellist. Jones was a college student when she went to college, was regarded as one of best hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100 meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was a part of the team that won the 100-meter relay. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles competition during the NCAA Championship. Jones began her track and field career in 2005 when she graduated from university. Jones won each of her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events during the same season.

Brandt immigrated out of Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Brandt was discovered by local casting agents, took the lead role of Naevia on the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Together with producers Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight) She quickly became a hit. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer that ran for a six year run playing the fan most loved Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes identified Lucifer at the end of 2021, as the show that had the highest quantity of people who watched it on a binge. Brandt's next performance will be in a six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. Her other Netflix productions include an animated comedy Captain Fall starring Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan, Jason Ritter, and Chris Meloni. This will air in the month of July in 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is quite a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt along with the other members of her family moved into Auckland New Zealand, in 1999. In Auckland Brandt started out as an agent for sales, and later was elevated to the position of an expert in IT. Lesley started out modeling after which she began appearing in commercials. In 2008 she graduated from her studies and enrolled in Meisner method of study. The first time she was seen on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television show Shortland Street. She also appeared on a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life based on the anecdotal city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia who was a teenager hostage. She was later depicted her character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena mini-series.
