Ksenia is the eldest Canadian actor to have won two Gemini Awards in a row. Solo has a background in ballet classical and is an exceptionally flexible actor. Solo is the actress who portrayed passionate Veronica she was a rival to Natalie Portman in Black Swan. Solo also played the manipulative Holly in the film Pet. She also played Holly, who is Dominic Monaghan, in the psychological thriller Pet. Also, she played the innocent, young Lucy alongside Maria Bello, in In Search of Fellini. Solo has been praised by critics for her ability to switch the roles on television, such as her character of Kenzi on Syfy's fantasy-noir series Lost Girl. She also appeared as the real-life socialite Peggy Shippen and her husband in AMC's historical drama Turn to Washington's Spies.
