Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role in the film Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom do her job. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles during the years following 1999. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place May 2013and had a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk told fans of the show her good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social networks.
